There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms across the mountains and San Luis Valley this afternoon and evening. High temperatures across the far eastern plains will be in the triple digits. Expect 90's along the I-25 corridor, low 80's in the San Luis Valley, and 60's in the mountains. Temperatures will begin a cooling trend this weekend in to the early part of next week.
