A noticeably cooler airmass will spread over eastern Colorado today, as temperatures cool into the 70s and 80s over most locations. A limited supply of moisture will work across the state, with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms possible, mainly this afternoon and evening, with the best chances expected along and west of the interstate 25 corridor. Locally heavy rain will be possible with the stronger thunderstorms, increasing the flash flood potential near the burn scars. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
