After another hot and mostly dry day Monday, increased moisture over the region will lead to cooler temperatures and an increased threat for showers and thunderstorms over the area. The best chance for showers and thunderstorms will be in and around mountains. High temperatures Tuesday will be in the mid to upper 80's across the far east plains, low 80s along I-25 and in the San Luis Valley, and 50's/60's in the mountains.
