One more day of cool weather will spread across the state today, with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing. Slightly dryer and warmer weather should then spread back across the state through the Holiday weekend. Showers and Thunderstorms are likely each day, with Locally heavy rain possible with the stronger thunderstorms, so caution should be used if outdoors near the burn scars. For the 4th of July, temperatures will warm into the 90s across the eastern plains, with 70s and 80s expected over the high country. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
