A slight chance for showers and thunderstorms across the eastern plains continue this afternoon, as southeast Colorado begins to dry out for the upcoming weekend. Look for dry conditions through the weekend and well above average high temperatures on Sunday. Many areas along and east of I-25 will be in the 90's to near 100 degrees.
