Moisture will begin to gradually decrease across the region into Friday, though enough moisture will remain in the outlook for isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms over the central mountains, Pikes peak region and across the far eastern plains. Some of these storms could become quite strong and possibly severe over the far eastern plains once again on Thursday. Warmer weather will continue to spread back across the area, with highs warming into the upper 80s to mid 90s over the eastern plains and 70s to mid 80s over the high country.
