A limited supply of moisture will continue to spread across eastern Colorado through mid week, while a series of weak upper level disturbances push over the state. This will bring a continued chance for mainly afternoon and evening thunderstorms to the region over the next few days, with some of these storms becoming quite strong and possibly severe over the eastern plains. Locally heavy rain will be possible through this period as well, with an elevated flash flood threat continuing over the burn scars. Area temperatures will be slightly below average over most locations today, with highs warming into the upper 70s to mid 80s over the eastern plains and 60s to near 80 over the high country.
