The first day of the Summer will be warm...but with little change from Friday's readings. Look for daytime highs to climb to the upper 60s and the 70s in the mountains...the 80s in the southern valleys...and the upper 80s and 90s on the eastern plains. Conditions could be a little more active Saturday...with a slight chance of thunderstorms developing over the mountains...then spreading across the eastern plains. A few strong storms will be possible again in the late afternoon and evening over the southeast...with high wind gusts...large hail and dangerous lightning.
