Dry and warmer weather will spread across eastern Colorado over the next couple of days, with gusty winds expected over the region once again this afternoon. This will help to increase the fire danger over the region, with a red flag warning in effect today from noon until 900 PM for El Paso county. Smoke and haze from fires occurring in northern Arizona and Northwest New Mexico will push into portions of south central Colorado today. Area temperatures will warm back to above average over most locations today, as highs top out in the 80s to mid 90s over the eastern plains and 60s to low 80s over the high country.
