An area of low pressure will push across the state today, dragging a cold front through the region this evening. Moisture will remain limited across the area with this system, with only isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms expected over the northern half of Colorado and the far southeast plains. Mostly dry weather will continue over the southern Interstate 25 corridor and areas to the west. Gusty winds will develop in most areas today...with a Red Flag Warning in effect over El Paso county. Behind the cold front on Sunday, a drier and cooler airmass will briefly settle in across the state, with area temperatures falling back to around average. High temperatures today will range from the 60s to low 80s in the mountains and high valleys...with 80s to mid 90s expected over the eastern plains.
