Cooler air will cover eastern Colorado this afternoon...as high pressure moves across the state. Conditions will be drier and considerably warmer Friday and through the weekend...with isolated afternoon thunderstorms possible on the southeast plains. These storms will likely produce more gusty winds and lightning than rainfall...as drier air spreads across the viewing area. Look for temperatures to climb to the 70s and lower 80s in the mountains and southern valleys...and the middle 80s and 90s across the southeast.
