A period of unsettled weather will begin over eastern Colorado tomorrow, as a chance for afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms develops over the eastern plains and adjacent mountains into the upcoming weekend. Some of these storms could become quite strong and possibly severe, so persons across the region will need to be weather alert. Heavy rain will also be possible through this period, increasing the threat for flash flooding on area burn scars. Please visit weather.gov/pub for additional information.
