Temperatures are expected to warm sharply Tuesday...with near 100 degrees readings expected over the southeast plains. Elsewhere expect temperatures in the 90s along the I-25 corridor..and 70s and 80s through the higher elevations and San Luis Valley. Strong winds with gusts from 45 to 55 mph can be expected through the day...into late evening region-wide. A combination of strong winds, low humidity and hot temperatures will create dangerous fire conditions along the I-25 corridor and through the southeast plains.
