June starts out hot and dry for most areas, with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms over the far eastern plains on Sunday. Temperatures through Tuesday will be in the 90s over most of the southeast plains, Mid 80s and lower 90s along the I-25 corridor, and in the 70s and 80s over the high valleys...including the San Luis Valley. There may again be a few thunderstorms near the Kansas border on Monday...but dry weather is expected on Tuesday before a pattern shift late Wednesday brings another chance of precipitation to the area.
