A slow moving low pressure system in the upper levels of the atmosphere will continue to drift across southern Colorado through the holiday weekend. Expect a chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms each day through Memorial Day. Locally heavy rainfall, small hail and lightning will be the main weather hazards, although heavy rain on area burn scars could increase the threat of flash flooding. For the higher peaks, some snow will be possible through today. Highs Today will range from the 40s and 50s in the mountains, to 60s in the high valleys, to 70s and lower 80s on the plains.
