A cold spring storm system will move into Colorado tonight, dragging a cold front through the region Sunday afternoon. The chance for precipitation increases over the central mountains tonight, spreading across the remainder of the region behind the cold front Sunday afternoon into Monday morning. Significant snow accumulations are likely over the mountains and Palmer Divide with this system, with light accumulations possible Sunday night, along the interstate 25 corridor. Persons planning travel through the mountains and across the Palmer Divide, should remain weather alert and be prepared for adverse travel conditions.
