Cooler air will spill through southern and eastern Colorado today, bringing a chance of rain showers and a few thunderstorms to the viewing area...along with a slight chance of snow showers in higher areas. Temperatures are going to be cooler region-wide...with highs in the 40s and 50s in the mountains and southern valleys...and ranging in the upper 50s to around 70 degrees on the eastern plains. A short period of warmer temperatures and slightly warmer temperatures should return Friday. Overnight temperatures will drop into the 20s and 30s in the mountains and southern valleys, and into the mid to high 30s through the Plains tonight.
