A southwest wind flow aloft will continue to stream across the state into Wednesday. This will continue the trend of very warm and dry weather across eastern Colorado on Tuesday, with gusty winds developing over the region by mid morning. This will help to increase the fire danger across the eastern plains and San Luis Valley. For the latest information on this fire danger, please visit our web page at weather.gov/pub. Cooler weather will return on Wednesday as our next low pressure system begins moving across the state, dragging a cold front through the region late in the day. Area temperatures on Tuesday will warm into the 80s across the eastern plains, and into the 50s to low 70s across the high country. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
