Lingering moisture over the mountains and southern valleys will help produce isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms Monday...while mostly sunny and drier conditions are in store across the eastern plains. An area of high pressure will build over the western states and Rockies through the day...bringing dry and warmer weather to the area Tuesday and Wednesday. High temperatures should be about as warm as Sunday's readings with 40s and 50s expected over the mountains...the 60s through the southern valleys...and the mid 60s and 70s across the eastern plains.
