An upper level weather system will continue to move across northern Colorado this afternoon...as a cold front exits the southern border areas of the state. Rain and snow are expected to develop through the afternoon hours and into the evening...with significant snow accumulations possible over favored areas in the eastern mountains and adjacent lower elevations tonight to early Thursday morning. The precipitation will diminish and skies will clear from west to east through Thursday afternoon. Temperatures are going to be in the 30s and 40s in most mountain areas...the 50s in the southern valleys...and the 50s to lower 60s across eastern Colorado. Winter Weather Advisories are in effect...and some localized heavy snow amounts are possible.
