A strong west to southwest wind flow aloft, will continue across the state into Wednesday night. This will bring gusty winds to the mountains and portions of the eastern plains once again on Wednesday, with a high fire danger expected across portions of the southeast plains from 11 AM until 8 PM for Pueblo, Huerfano, Las Animas, Crowley, Otero and Baca Counties in southeast Colorado. Temperatures will be slightly cooler but still near to slightly above average over the area, with highs topping out in the mid 50s to near 70 across the eastern plains and 30s to low 50s over the high country. Moisture will increase over the high country with a good chance for snow developing along the Continental Divide and isolated to widely scattered rain or snow showers over the eastern mountains. Elsewhere, dry conditions will continue with a mixture of clouds and sun, along with areas of blowing dust possible once again. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
