A low pressure system will push into southeast Colorado tonight, spreading gusty winds across the state. Moisture will increase across the high country with this system, with rain and snow developing. The best chance for snow is across the central and southwest mountains, where some light snow accumulations are possible. The low will move over eastern Colorado tonight, dragging the cold front through the region, with noticeably cooler, but still around average temperatures expected in most areas for Monday. Dry air will remain in place over the lower elevations, leading to a high fire danger across the eastern plains late Monday morning into the evening hours.
