Dry conditions will continue tonight as winds decrease this evening, although some breezy conditions will continue for much of the night over the far southern portions of the Southeast Plains. Sunday will be partly to mostly cloudy as showers spread into the Central Mountains by mid afternoon. The big concern for Sunday are the winds, in addition to the low humidity creating conditions that are ripe for rapid fire spread, if it should occur. Temperatures will reach the high 70s to 80s through the Plains on Sunday while the mountains and San Luis Valley will see temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Looking ahead into the work week, an active weather pattern is likely with a chance of precipitation possible across the region by the middle of the week. The amount of precipitation that each area receives will depend on the track of the storm system so stay tuned for updates on the developing situation.
