An area of high pressure will build over the Rockies for Saturday, bringing dry and fair weather to the region. These conditions will contribute to low humidity and gusty winds over the far Southeastern Plains and have prompted a Red Flag Warning from 1pm to 7pm on Saturday. Afternoon temperatures will be in the 70s through the Plains and 50s and 60s through the mountains and San Luis Valley. A low pressure system approaches the Rockies on Sunday with snow and strong winds developing over the high country. Gusty winds and low humidity will continue through the Plains, creating Critical Fire Danger conditions through Sunday evening. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
