Weather conditions should become a little more settled around the region Friday...as a weak area of high pressure starts to build over the Rocky Mountain states. Some lingering snow is still possible in the central mountains...but accumulations should be light with less wind in the picture. Look for partly to mostly sunny skies across the rest of the area...with temperatures in the 30s and 40s in the mountains...the 40s and 50s in the southern valleys...and the middle 50s and 60s across the eastern plains.
