A brief warming period will develop over eastern Colorado Tuesday and Wednesday...ahead of a weak low pressure system moving into the southwestern states. Mostly sunny skies are also expected through the day...with a few late day showers developing over the southwest mountains. The invading moisture will increase over the high country Wednesday...with a better chance of rain and showers in store...along with isolated showers spreading to the region's lower elevations. High temperatures should climb to the 40s and lower 50s in the mountains...with 50s to lower 60s across the lower elevations of the San Luis Valley and the eastern plains.
