A weak cold front pushed through eastern Colorado overnight, spreading a reinforcing shot of cooler air into the eastern plains. This will help to keep temperatures below average this afternoon over this area, while temperatures climb above average across the high country. Under mostly sunny skies this afternoon, highs will top out in the 40s and 50s over most locations. On Tuesday, a warming trend will get underway, with a return to above average temperatures expected area wide by Wednesday. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
