As the low pressure system that brought snow to parts of the region on Saturday moves away from Colorado today, mostly cloudy skies this morning should give way to sunshine by this afternoon. Temperatures will remain cool over most areas today, with below normal temperatures expected over the eastern plains, and near average temperatures expected across the mountains and high valleys, as highs warm into the 40s to mid 50s over most locations. Enough moisture will be in place this afternoon and evening over the mountains for a stray snow shower, otherwise, dry weather was expected into Wednesday. Our next storm system should arrive late Wednesday, with unsettled weather expected through the remainder of the work week. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
