Warm and dry weather was expected across eastern Colorado today, ahead of an approaching weak low pressure system. This will help temperatures to warm into 60s and 70s across the eastern plains, with 40s and 50s expected over the high country. This low will push into the state this afternoon, dragging a weak cold front through eastern Colorado this evening. Moisture will remain limited with this front, so no precipitation is expected. Dry, but cooler weather will return for Friday, as temperatures fall back to slightly below average over most areas. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
