High pressure will build back across the state on Sunday, with dry and mild weather returning to eastern Colorado, as high temperatures warm into the 50s to low 60s across the eastern plains, and 40s to low 50s over the high country. Gusty winds will still be possible over the far eastern plains and higher mountain peaks through early afternoon, with fairly light winds expected elsewhere across the region. Looking ahead to Monday, a brief return to above average temperatures was expected, as gusty winds help temperatures climb into the 70s over the eastern plains and 50s and 60s across the remainder of eastern Colorado.
