If you are going to pick up your dog, please bring a collar and leash with you. You will also need to pay a return fee. If you don't have a current Cuyahoga County dog license for your dog, you will be also be required to purchase one. CAC accepts CASH ONLY. Strays are only required by law to be held for 72 hours and dogs with license tags or that are microchipped are held for 10 business days. The day of intake, Sundays, and any observed holidays are not counted against the hold time. If you are missing your dog, please check back frequently as it may take some time for it to end up in a holding facility such as Cleveland Animal Control.
