GIAMBATTISTA VALLI OPENS HIS FIRST MILAN FLAGSHIP STORE IN THE HEART OF IL QUADRILATERO.

Following the opening of his two Parisian stores in Passage de la Madeleine, Giambattista Valli will open, in January 2014, his first Italian boutique in via Sant'Andrea, 12, in the heart of the Milanese Quadrilatero.

Ensconced in the courtyard of one of the historical buildings of via Sant'Andrea, the 130 square meters (1400 fq st) space will showcase the House’s universe, including ready-to-wear and accessories - bags, shoes, jewels and furs.

The store will also offer a bespoke exclusive service for exotic leather skins, which will allow clients to place custom orders for the ‘Valli Bags’ and shoes.

"Opening a store is the best way to show one's own world, its philosophy and the lifestyle which comes with it. The concept of this particular flagship comes from the idea and the willingness of opening a certain number of “Valli Houses” worldwide, each one dedicated to the style and culture of the city and which welcome new friends keen to share my vision" says Giambattista Valli.

Giambattista Valli's design concept for the store has been interpreted and brought to life by Luigi Scialanga, the architect behind his two Parisian spaces.

"Milan" adds Valli "is a very important milestone and has a very particular meaning to me as this is the first “Valli House” in Italy, the country where I was born".
