A new low pressure system will continue to take shape across the desert southwest...pumping moist air into southern Colorado...with increasing snow along the Continental Divide spreading across the rest of southern areas by this evening. Significant snowfall is expected over the eastern plains as well as the central and southwest mountains. People in these areas should remain alert and be prepared for adverse driving conditions.
