High pressure will move east of the state tonight, as our next low pressure system takes shape across the desert southwest. This low will move into southern Arizona late tonight, then east into New Mexico by Monday evening.  Moisture will begin increasing along the Continental Divide early Monday morning, and gradually spread east across the remainder of the state by Monday evening, with snow becoming widespread across eastern Colorado by late Monday night. The chances for snow should then continue into Tuesday night before diminishing Wednesday morning. Light to moderate snow accumulations will be possible across much of eastern Colorado, with significant snowfall expected over the central and southwest mountains, and across the far eastern plains. Persons planning travel Tuesday into Wednesday, should remain weather alert and be prepared for adverse driving conditions. Area temperatures will remain well below average over the next few days, with some of the coldes! t air of the season moving into southern Colorado behind a cold front Tuesday night.
