A low pressure system moving into the area tonight and Saturday is expected to bring a hazardous mix of winter weather, including snow, freezing rain, and rain, to central Indiana. The highest snowfall totals are expected to be over the northwest sections of central Indiana, where 1-2 inches of snow will fall by Saturday afternoon. Lesser amounts of snow will occur farther south. Light ice accumulations are also possible. The precipitation is expected to change to rain by Saturday afternoon. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for late tonight into Saturday morning for the northern half of central Indiana. (Please visit http://weather.gov/ind for more information.)
