A strong jet stream-driven weather system will continue push snow and strong winds into the Rocky Mountains through Friday...bringing heavy snow and blowing snow to the high country and northern portions of the region.. and light snow through the Plains into Saturday. Temperatures are going to be in the 20s and 30s in most areas...with a small pocket of 40 degree readings in extreme southern Colorado between Walsenburg and Trinidad and along the Raton Mesa. For complete details on this developing system..visit our web page at www.weather.gov/pub. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
