A low pressure system is expected to approach central Indiana on Friday, bringing a wintry mix of precipitation to the area. The precipitation is expected to start out as snow over the northern sections of central Indiana on Friday, with a rain/snow mix possible over the south. By Friday night, warmer air moving into the area will gradually push the rain/snow line north with time. Freezing rain is also possible within the rain/snow transition zone. Snowfall accumulations by Saturday morning area expected to range from 2 to 3 inches over north central Indiana, to less than one inch in the south. Light accumulations of ice are also possible.
