Yesterday, 19 january, the volunteers have been called by people who live in this zone. There is an abandoned homestead and a lot o stray animals lived there, in garbages and in their excrements. Someone food them, until yesterday... The volunteers were shocked by what they saw... the bodies of 13 killed dogs!! 2 dogs were still alive, 1 dog escaped and now is missing... the volunteers say that in this place, MONREALE, no law is respected. There's not a public shelter and the mayor doesn't care of animals. They keep on die silently, poisoned , hanged, drowned in the indiference of institutions.
