Moved and inspired by @jmaentz's The Forgotten Ten Photography Exhibition exhibiting indigenous communities around the Philippines at the Yuchengco Museum. An estimated 10 to 20 percent of the Philippine population are considered indigenous and Jacob is the only one I know of that is doing this in the Philippines. He's my mother's godson too!

The exhibit highlights the Badjao, Agta, Mangyan, Tagbanua, Manobos, Kalinga, Applai, Pala’wan groups. The exhibit aims to educate and help foster a heightened appreciation for our indigenous brothers and sisters while emphasizing their major struggles to self-determination.

Unfortunately the exhibit ended today, but Jacob will surely be doing more exhibits in the future. Hopefully a book will follow soon too! Proud of Jacob and his two years worth of beautiful work!
