Bands of snow will cycle through Eastern Kentucky today. Each band could produce brief heavy snow with total accumulation of 2 to 4 inches through this evening. The snow will taper to flurries tonight as the cold air surges into the region and drops temperatures to the single digits by Wednesday morning.
