If you haven't been reading the B.P.R.D. and you've wanted to know what's been going on then now is the time to jump in. With Hellboy in Hell starting up again and B.P.R.D.'s "Hell on Earth" series, we see the world of the bureau dealing with threats the likes of which even Hellboy has never seen before! Personally, I've been catching up in the last year on everything #BPRD and I'm here to say that if you are a fan of Lovecraftian works, horror, great characterization...ok, hold on, let me just tell you that when I first started reading the books on the Bureau, that I already enjoyed them. But now, the writing has matured even more so and the characters are more fleshed out and the dialogue has become more organic and what I feel to be; the truest to the characters involved. Mike #Mignola & John #Arcudi are masterful storytellers and they bring a real human element to a very horrific landscape that will sit with you well after you've closed the pages on these books. On a more "Fan-boy" related note, I am very much looking forward to seeing if Hellboy in Hell ties in with the climax of the B.P.R.D. series. I guess only time will tell.
