An extended period of dry and pleasant weather is on tap for southern Colorado into Early next week, as high pressure builds across the region. A few clouds may work across the state from time to time, as occasional weak upper level impulses move across Colorado, but no precipitation is expected. Area temperatures will return to above average over most locations today, with highs topping out in the 50s to lower 60s across the eastern plains, and into the 30s and 40s across the high country.
