High pressure and southerly winds will mean a warming trend through the remainder of the week. Skies will remain dry through Wednesday night, though an approaching system to our northwest will bring the return of clouds across the region late Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night. A slight chance of rain and snow will then be possible Thursday and Thursday night across portions of Eastern Kentucky. (Please visit http://weather.gov/jkl for more information.)
