Anyone who knows me probably expected me to post about Revival today since I am making a list of my favorite comics this past year!
#Revival gives us that small town horror feel, like those classic Stephen #King early works, 'Salem's Lot, It, and books like that? Yeah-the small town vibe is definitely here and writer/creator Tim #Seeley brings the town to life with the rich townsfolk. And by rich I mean extremely layered, vibrant, realistic & sometimes downright terrifying.
The art is slick, clear and a visual treat. Mike #Norton does an incredible job as the visual storyteller.
I don't want to give away to much here for those of you who have not read this book. It is not another zombie book. It is a book about a town and a small family in the midst of something supernatural that the whole of them do not understand. The characters personal politics & beliefs play a part (or get in the way) and the rest is left up to the things that haunt them.-Ethan
