A cold front moved through eastern Colorado Saturday afternoon, with a moist and colder airmass spreading into the state in its wake. This will bring a chance for snow showers to much of eastern Colorado into Sunday morning, with the best chances for precipitation occurring over the mountains and adjacent plains late this evening, into early Sunday morning. Some light snow accumulations will be possible in these areas, with generally an inch or less possible along the interstate 25 corridor, with 1 to 4 inches expected in and near the mountains and across the Palmer Divide. Moisture should gradually diminish from north to south over the region on Sunday, with a return of dry but cold weather expected by afternoon. Area temperatures on Sunday will only warm into the 20s and 30s over most locations. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
