Rain will continue into the evening across eastern Kentucky with locally heavy rain across continuing in southeast Kentucky. The rain will transition over to snow from the northwest to the southeast through the evening hours. All of eastern Kentucky should see snow over the second half of the night. The snow could be heavy at times with low visibility and snow accumulation on area roads. Hazardous travel is expected into the Wednesday morning commute. Prepare accordingly if you have travel plans on Wednesday. Snow showers will continue from time to time through Wednesday and into Wednesday evening.
