An upper level storm system will continue to move slowly east across Arizona today and into New Mexico by Monday. A series of upper level disturbances out ahead of this low will push over Colorado into Monday, spreading areas of precipitation across the region, with snow showers developing over much of southern Colorado through late morning. Moisture will then increase somewhat across the region once again late today, with a slightly better chance of snow expected during the evening hours, mainly over the southern sections of the state and over the mountains. Persons planning travel across the mountains should check the forecast for the latest updates and any warnings or advisories that may be in effect by visiting out web page at www.weather.gov/pub and for road conditions visit the Colorado Department of Transportation's web page at www.cotrip.org (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
