A cooling trend will begin today as a storm system, currently moving southward in to northern California, digs in to the southwestern US. Conditions will be dry until tomorrow afternoon when precipitation chances will increase across the mountains and San Luis Valley. Thunderstorms will be possible across the far east plains late tomorrow evening. Expect windy conditions across the eastern plains this afternoon and across all of southeastern Colorado tomorrow.
