High pressure will bring a brief return of mostly dry and hot weather to the region on Wednesday, as highs warm into the 80s to low 90s over the southeast plains, with 60s and 70s expected over the high country. Enough moisture may still be available to mainly isolated mountain showers or thunderstorms, mainly along the Continental Divide. A weak cold front will push through the state Wednesday night, with cooler weather expected again by Thursday. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
