Areas of rain, with pockets of heavy rain possible, will continue this morning across the region. Moisture will then decrease somewhat across the state this afternoon. This will help to diminish the threat for widespread heavy rain over the region this afternoon, though some stronger storms producing locally heavy rain will still be possible.
